 The 4th Dancing Routes Komotini focuses on Human Patterns — the patterns that shape the way we move, relate, and exist. In the small and large repetitions of the body, in the unconscious designs of everyday life, in the structures we inherit and in the deviations we choose.

Our patterns as invisible lines that connect our experiences. As rhythms, habits, ways of reacting, ways of touching, ways of encountering one another. Through movement, we meet the patterns of others: we face them, recognize them, imitate them, deconstruct them, or merge them with our own. In this way, new relational geometries emerge — new versions of togetherness.

Human Patterns is an invitation to observe what composes us and to create spaces where our patterns can meet, collide, intertwine, and reveal something new.

For the 4th consecutive year, the dance festival Dancing Routes Komotini continues to bring the world of dance to the border city of Komotini, inviting teachers and artists from Greece and abroad, and hosting workshops and performances for all ages.

In a region that lives and breathes through the coexistence of different people, stories, languages, religions, cultures, aromas, flavors, and sounds, we invite artists from the fields of dance and the performing arts to weave their own human patterns.
