Έκανε πρεμιέρα τον Μάιο του 2024 στην Αθήνα, στο πλαίσιο της παραγωγής Young Choreographers της Κρατικής Σχολής Ορχηστικής Τέχνης (ΚΣΟΤ). Στη συνέχεια παρουσιάστηκε στο Σύγχρονο Θέατρο, στο CORA Dance Festival (Ιταλία), στο Patras Art Festival (PAF), στο Marameo Berlin Open Stage, στο Sasha Waltz & Guests Open Stage 2025 (Βερολίνο), στο Chania Dance Days International Festival (2025) και στο Ikaria Dance Festival (2025).
Πώς μπορούμε να επικοινωνήσουμε χωρίς λέξεις;
Για κάποιον που εκφράζεται μέσα από την κίνηση, κάθε χειρονομία γίνεται μια σκέψη, κάθε χέρι ένας αφηγητής. Η επικοινωνία δεν απουσιάζει — απλώς παίρνει μια διαφορετική μορφή. Ζει μέσα στη σιωπή, στην παρουσία και στις πιο μικρές λεπτομέρειες της έκφρασης.
Αυτό το έργο γιορτάζει την αθωότητα, την παιχνιδιάρικη διάθεση και το βάθος μιας γλώσσας που ανήκει στο σώμα — μιας γλώσσας που μιλά πέρα από τις λέξεις, αλλά μας συνδέει όλους.
Αυτό το έργο μιλά για τους πολλούς τρόπους με τους οποίους μπορεί να υπάρξει η επικοινωνία ανάμεσα στους ανθρώπους — αυτιστικούς και μη — όταν η γλώσσα ξεπερνά τα όρια των λέξεων.
Η έμπνευση προήλθε από ένα πεντάχρονο κορίτσι της οικογένειάς μας, του οποίου ο τρόπος έκφρασης μέσα από την κίνηση έγινε η καρδιά της δημιουργικής μας διαδικασίας. Επικοινωνεί μέσα από το σώμα της, και ιδιαίτερα μέσα από τα χέρια της, που μεταφέρουν συναισθήματα, ρυθμούς και προθέσεις.
Κάθε χειρονομία αποκαλύπτει νόημα και οπτική, υπενθυμίζοντάς μας ότι η επικοινωνία είναι πάντα παρούσα, ακόμη κι όταν δεν παίρνει τη μορφή της ομιλίας.
Η μουσική, σε σύνθεση του Περικλή Σιούντα, δημιουργήθηκε σε στενό διάλογο με τη χορογραφία, διαμορφώνοντας ρυθμούς, υφές και συναισθηματικές αποχρώσεις που αναδεικνύουν και υποστηρίζουν την κίνηση. Μαζί, κίνηση/χορός και μουσική πλέκονται για να εκφράσουν την ιδέα με ειλικρίνεια και βάθος.
Ο μουσικός μας, Περικλής Σιούντας, αναφέρει:
«Η έμπνευση για τη μουσική σύνθεση γεννήθηκε παρατηρώντας τους ίδιους τους χορευτές, αλλά και μέσα από την περιγραφή τους για το τι οραματίζονταν να δημιουργήσουν.
Το πρώτο συναίσθημα που γεννήθηκε μέσα μου ήταν ότι επρόκειτο να δημιουργήσουμε κάτι πολύ δυναμικό, αλλά ταυτόχρονα γεμάτο λυρισμό.
Μια ισορροπία ιδιαίτερα απαιτητική και συγχρόνως εύθραυστη. Και αυτό ακριβώς προσπάθησα να υπηρετήσω μέσα από τη μουσική.
Μπροστά μου είχα δύο πολύ δυναμικά σώματα, που σίγουρα θα χρειάζονταν μερικούς groovy ρυθμούς για να ανθίσει η ισχυρή τους σύνδεση. Παράλληλα, υπήρχε η επιθυμία για το ηχόχρωμα του hang-drum.
Τα μουσικά μοτίβα του hang-drum έγιναν ο οδηγός για ολόκληρη τη σύνθεση — έντονα ρυθμικά μέσα στη μελωδική τους φύση. Ωστόσο, ήταν σχετικά περιορισμένα τονικά σε σχέση με αυτό που είχα φανταστεί, και έτσι για να προστεθούν νότες και περισσότερος λυρισμός, μπήκε το ακορντεόν με τα πλούσια μπάσα του και τις μελαγχολικές, λυρικές του γραμμές.
Τέλος, οι φωνές ήταν το στοιχείο που ολοκλήρωσε την εικόνα, προσθέτοντας το δράμα και την ανθρώπινη διάσταση που έλειπε. Ηχογραφήσεις, επεξεργασία, μερικές συζητήσεις, λίγα εφέ, μερικές βελτιώσεις και… voilà!
Έτσι φτάσαμε στο τελικό αποτέλεσμα, για το οποίο είμαστε πολύ χαρούμενοι και πραγματικά περήφανοι.»

How can we communicate without words?
For someone who expresses through movement,
every gesture becomes a thought, every hand a storyteller. Communication is not absent — it simply takes on a different shape. It lives in silence, in presence, and in the smallest details of expression.
This piece celebrates the innocence, playfulness, and depth of a language that belongs to the body — a language that speaks beyond words, yet connects us all.

This piece is about the many ways communication can exist between people- autistic and non-autistic - when language expands beyond worlds .
The inspiration came from a five-year-old girl in our family , whose way of expressing herself through movement became the heart of our creative process . She communicates through her body , especially her hands , which carry emotions rhythms and intentions.
Each gesture reveals meaning and perspective, reminding us that communication is always present , even when it does not take the form of speech .
Music , composed by Periklis Sioundas , was created in close dialogue with the choreography ,shaping rhythms , textures, and emotional tones that highlight and support the movement . Together , movement/dance and music intertwine to express the idea with honesty and depth.
Our Musician Periklis Sioundas express that,
"The inspiration for the musical composition was born from observing the dancers themselves, as well as from their description of what they envisioned creating.
The first feeling that emerged in me, was that we were about to create something very dynamic, yet filled with lyricism.
A balance that is both highly challenging and at the same time very fragile. And that is exactly what I tried to serve through the music.
I had before me two very dynamic bodies, that would certainly need some groovy rhythms for their powerful connection to blossom. In addition, there was a desire for the color of a hang-drum sound.
The musical motifs of the hang-drum became my guide for the entire composition—strongly rhythmic in their melodic nature. However, they were quite limited in tonal range compared to what I had imagined, and to add notes and extra lyricism, the accordion stepped in with its rich basses and its melancholic, lyrical lines.
Finally, the voices were the element that completed the picture, adding the drama and the human aspect that was missing. Recording, editing, a few conversations, α few effects, α few improvements and voilà!
That's how we arrived at the final result, which we are very happy with and truly proud.
