Πειραματική Σκηνή – Καπναποθήκη Δήμου Κομοτηνής

Η Company RAu παρουσιάζει την παράσταση «Dido», ένα σόλο πολυδιάστατο έργο του χορογράφου και performer Korhan Basaran. Μέσα από σύγχρονο χορό, θέατρο, πρωτότυπη μουσική και video projection, η performance αντλεί έμπνευση από τον μύθο της Διδούς και του Αινεία, εξερευνώντας την ανθρώπινη επιθυμία, την απογοήτευση και τον συναισθηματικό σπαραγμό.

Μια δυνατή σκηνική εμπειρία που μας οδηγεί βαθιά στον ψυχισμό της Διδούς, καθώς η αγάπη και η πίστη της μετατρέπονται σε τραγική συνειδητοποίηση της προδοσίας.

Το έργο έχει διαρκεια 65 λεπτά  ενώ ο Basaran χρησιμοποιεί το σώμα και την κίνηση ως κύριο εκφραστικό μέσο. 

Το project συνοδεύεται από πρωτότυπη σύνθεση του Tolga Yayalar και video projection του Ataman Girisken που «αναδημιουργούν» το χώρο και μεταμορφώνουν την αίσθηση του χρόνου και του χώρου επί σκηνής.

 Η performance έχει παρουσιαστεί διεθνώς σε φεστιβάλ και σκηνές όπως Istanbul Theater Festival, Wortwiege Festival (Αυστρία), Brighton Fringe (UK) και αλλού, και έχει δεχθεί θερμές κριτικές από διεθνή μέσα για το συναισθηματικό βάθος και την καινοτόμο προσέγγιση της.

"Company RAu's Dido is a solo multi-disciplinary performance by Istanbul-based choreographer/performer Korhan Basaran that reflects the myth of Dido and Aeneas using elements of contemporary dance, theater, new music and video projection to explore themes of human desire, frustration and heartbreak.

Basaran takes the audience on a journey in collaboration with Tolga Yayalar's original composition and Ataman Girisken's projection design deep into Dido's mind as she falls in love and is ultimately destroyed by her own desire and loyalty. Language is an extension of movement as Basaran's body softens, explodes, ducks, hides, and accuses, showing us how Dido's mind grasps at the realization of her betrayal.
Girisken uses video projection and Yayalar uses sound to redefine the stage space with simple, bold clean imagery with a constantly traveling sound that shifts our perception of time and space as we descend deeper and deeper into this dream poem of theatrical experience."
