Korhan Basaran-Core Bash

Korhan Basaran - Core Bash is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, director and multidisciplinary performing artist based in Istanbul, working in Turkiye and Europe after his many years in New York City.

He is the artistic director of Company RAu, an international project-based dance collective exploring the intersection of movement, theatre and visual performance. His work has been presented internationally and focuses on fragile topics and transformation of humanity through the arts and his language of cross-disciplinary performance.

RAu is when we are in our most vulnerable yet strongest state, most determined and most ready to challenge the self into a shift we can't foresee... you've got to let the experience take you to your new self, to the new transformed being, the new you... therefore, the experience has to be genuine, true, and unique."
